This is my hobby business and passion that I enjoy sharing with others. It's an intersection of my skills as an Engineer and (admittedly excessive) obsession with cars. I was named after Bruce McLaren and also attended the same Engineering school (much later!) so I'm sure that connection has influenced my interests too.

I own both full size and 1/8 scale RC cars which don't see as much use as maybe they should, hence the name Garage Queen Models.

Each of my RC car projects begins with replicating the original design in a CAD surface model, which is a core expertise in my day job. I choose cars which have the most interesting and beautiful shapes, and challenge myself to model them as accurately as possible.

Usually RC body producers are limited by the need for simple tooling to allow low cost, high production rates. I'm only producing a small number of bodies, with tooling designed and produced myself, so have no restrictions. This is a key to creating bodies that do justice to the original.

All bodies are produced by myself in Christchurch, New Zealand. It's a fantastic place to be and well known for it's global contribution to motorsports of all types. I'm pleased and proud to play my small part.

Thanks for your interest and I hope you enjoy these models.
